Ken's Safety Regulations

Safety in Ken’s is more than just following some rules, it is an attitude that needs to be adopted by all participants in the program (parents, students and Ken’s staff) and that needs to be constantly assessed in order to check that the exchange runs smoothly.

Also, as parents, we recognize the importance of knowing our kids are in a safe, peaceful place. Trusting both the organization and the family hosting our child is a decisive factor when embarking on this adventure.

Trust is earned on a daily basis, and we are proud to say that everyone who knows us can speak of our seriousness and quality of our work. We work hard so our clients feel safe at all times and we provide as much information as possible to resolve any doubts before, during and after participation. We are available to talk for as long as it takes in order to solve any problem that may arise.

A friend recently told me that the world is divided into two types of people: those who solve problems and those who create them. We are happy to belong to the former group.

Before starting the journey, the student receives a rulebook with information on the necessary documents, luggage, medicines, transport, safety, electronic devices, cultural differences and expected behavior inside and outside the homestay. It is a basic guidebook of recommendations to avoid problems in Spain and while hosting. We always go through the list with you in order to make sure you understand every item and to advise you on those which we deem most important or that, in our own experience, are the most difficult to deal with.
